PS FamilyNYC proudly collaborates with the NYC Department of Education to operate an extensive Family Child Care Network.
Through this partnership, we deliver top-notch care to children from birth to 3 years old in over 100 licensed provider homes across Brooklyn and Queens.

Recognizing the significant influence of family, culture, and community on a child's growth, we work closely with providers to foster respect, value differences, and promote a lifelong love of learning within a safe and nurturing environment.
We view families as equal partners, primary caregivers, and advocates in their children’s development, engaging them in every aspect of our programs. Our expert professional staff provides comprehensive support to affiliated providers, including instructional resources, coaching, and hands-on program monitoring.
All providers within the PS Family Child Care Network are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and regulated by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), ensuring compliance with rigorous quality standards.
Family Child Care Curriculum
Our Family Child Care Curriculum revolves around the Let’s Play! approach, tailored specifically for mixed-age Family Child Care programs. This curriculum embraces responsive caregiving and play-based learning, acknowledging that learning takes place throughout the day in various routines and transitions.
It offers suggestions for enriching these moments through conversations, songs, and games. For our youngest children, establishing warm and predictable caregiving routines fosters trust and lays a solid foundation for their learning journey.

It’s time to join our network and be part of the PS Family! When you affiliate with our network you receive administrative assistance, instructional training, help placing children in your program, and supplies for your business.
PS Family NYC is a DOE sponsored Family Child Care Network. The only way to offer subsidized child care to your families is by joining a DOE sponsored Network like ours. When you join our network, we pay the city childcare subsidy, offer many resources and are dedicated to helping you make your business a success.
