The Resource Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the financial sustainability of our company by researching and identifying valuable opportunities for grants, contracts, and corporate sponsorships. The primary focus is to secure resources that align with the company’s mission and objectives, contributing to its growth and impact.

Responsibilities:

Grant Research and Application:

  • Conduct thorough research on potential grant opportunities that align with the company’s work and goals.
  • Prepare and submit compelling grant applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with grant guidelines.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to gather necessary information for grant proposals.

Contract Opportunity Identification:

  • Explore and evaluate contract opportunities that align with the company’s services and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Director and with the company manager to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of competitive contract proposals.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of potential contract opportunities and associated deadlines.

Corporate Sponsorship Development:

  • Identify and assess potential corporate sponsors whose values and objectives align with the company.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with corporate entities, presenting opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communication teams to create appealing sponsorship proposals.

Marketing Collaboration

  • Work with the marketing team on branding that will strengthen the company positioning to receive resources.
  • Building partnerships for growth, development and expansion of the company’s resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in grant writing, contract identification, and corporate sponsorship development.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Familiarity with the company’s industry and mission.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
