What inspired you to open a daycare?
I worked with my sister in law and I saw all the affection that children gave to me. That is when I decided to open up my own business.
What is one of your favorite activities to do with children?
My favorite activity to do with children is art because children express themselves in different ways.
What advice would you give someone opening a daycare?
I would tell providers that at the beginning it may be overwhelming because children are not enrolled right away in your program. But not to worry because although your plan does not come as you imagined that with god willing down the road you will reach your goals.
What Covid-19 safety precautions is your business taking?
Social distancing, hand washing, making sure everyone has their mask on, make sure every inch of the program is disinfected including chairs, tables, toys and anything accessible.
What is your favorite children’s book?
The Very Hungry Caterpillar By Eric Carle
What is your favorite song to sing with kids?
A song that we made up with the children. “Buenos Dias, Buenos Diass, como estan” “Bien Graciaaasss”
Do you have a favorite animal?
Our pet fish named Red.
