PS Family NYC hosted a 10 month Child Development Associate Certificate program given in English and Spanish. This was the first time we had taken endeavor like this on and we are proud to announce that 16 students completed the course and received their certificate at a celebration on Saturday, May 14th.
The event started with congratulatory speeches from Emilie Gay (PS Family Executive Director), Tania Duchi (PS Family Network Provider), Simone Taylor (Early Childhood Consultant), Yanery Lopez (PS Family Associate Director), Sanny Nemis (PS Family Education Manager). The day ran smoothly with fun anecdotes from our MC, Gabrielle Napolitano (PS Family Creative Manager), our tech person, Yvette Estrella (PS Family Education Specialist), and help from Sthefanie Hernandez (PS Family – Family Manager).

“As part of the CDA team from the technical side, helping to create all of the presentations and attending every class I was able to see how intense the lessons were. Although I started as a student and didn’t complete the course, I continued as the technical person for every class, helping with presentations and guiding people through any technical issues. I was excited and arrived early to help with things and stayed after class if needed. It was really impressive knowing how dedicated each and every student was.”
